I'm writing this all in reflection and I'm still remembering the excitement of getting this working. Scriptable Objects are powerful tools and this was a fantastic learning experience to get this together.

A list of scriptable objects are fed into a script that takes the top option of the list as the starting point. After accepting or rejecting the item, there is a delay of a few seconds that will be filled with an animation to display what the player has chosen. The next item appears for the next step of the process. At the end of this clip the player is sent to a thank you cutscene.

The beginnings of gameplay

In preparation for the showcase, the backgrounds of each screen would be adapted to have a better aesthetic. The Start Day button appears on a PC screen along with end of day results eventually, Paintings would appear on an easel, while other artefacts are placed on a padded matt and scales.
